This flight departs from our Lookabout base on the Arnhem Highway, our closest base to Darwin. From here, we set our sights on Kakadu, via Corroboree Billabong and the South Alligator River. The Corroboree Billabong is part of the Mary River Wetlands and has the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world.
On this flight you will take in several of Kakadu's main highlights and attractions. First we over fly the famous Cahills Crossing, then on to the Ubirr Rock, Archway, Magela Gorge, Magela Falls, Dinosaur Valley, Upper east Alligator Gorge, and River, Minkinj Valley, Jabiluka Mine, and the scenically breathtaking Magela Wetlands.
All whilst taking in the ancient 2.5 billion year old escarpment.
On return to our base, we will stop in for a delicious lunch at the Bark Hut Inn - quite the iconic Northern Territory experience.
